Its another Ganesha handmade textured painting from the series. Ganesha is a popular Hindu god with an Elephant’s head and rotund body. In his hands he carries a variety of attributes; commonly depicted objects include a shell, mace, water-lily, his broken tusk, a bowl of his beloved sweets and an elephant goad. Ganesha’s vehicle is a mouse, or more specifically the bandicoot rat. I have used textured white to give background texture to the painting. The colors used are black, red, white, yellow, brown and blue. This painting can go in the living room as well in the Prayer room. A Protective Varnish is applied to make this painting last. The finishing coat allows you to clean the painting with damp cloth without causing any damage to the painting. It is signed in the front and the back.
I also do commissions, so If you like this painting and would like something similar in a different size or with color changes, Please contact me .
Roli Manchanda –
The technique of performance of this painting is exceptional. It contrasts magnificently with my living room, and aids in bringing out a pop of color on the bare, white walls. It subtly attracts the attention of anybody who visits my place, and I’ve received compliments discussing the color scheme and build of this particular painting. It displays the picture of Lord Ganesha in a curiously abstracted manner, perfectly contrasting with Indian cultures and western style of art, which binds together the painting in the most unique way.
What I personally like about this painting most is the texture; and the certain little details that the artist has paid special attention to. It has been built delicately; rough and jagged in specific places yet soft and smooth in the latter.
The artist has certainly crafted a flawless masterpiece. She has a practiced hand at painting which depicts stability and finesse in her art.
